About

S.L. lives in a tiny little college town, employed as housekeeper and cook to two dogs and two cats.  There's probably a reason she's on the internet, but does it really matter?

So, why "onions on your sneakers"?  It's actually a long short story.  Have you ever tried to say "hello" in Korean?  This is a phrase that my father was taught when he was first learning Korean in order to remember the phrase.  So the next time you meet a Korean... well, the last thing you should probably do is bow and say, "Onions on your sneakers."
